Restoring Hopes Ministry is a is a registered Christian not for profit making organization located in Miwani –Kenya with the aim of restoring back hope to the hopeless and the less fortunate persons in the society. The organization was started in the year 2010 and eventually became registered in the year 2014 after four years of service. The organization has outreach mission for orphans and old widows in the rural villages where care for the total orphans affected with HIV/AIDs, Poor widows and the vulnerable once have been carried out in the past.
Outreach mission has been an area of focus, and from being involved in the missions, I have encountered touching stories and real life experience on how less fortunate orphans and widows do struggle to make ends meet. God led me to a woman by the name Akinyi in a small village called kabar , who haven’t yet been married because of her condition which resulted from epilepsy.

Restoring hopes aims at poverty amongst marginalized members of society caused by droughts. To start with, Muhoroni Sub County, where Miwani village is located, receives a lot of rain during the month of December up to April. This then followed by a severe drought which runs from April up to August, then followed by a season of short rain fall.
